Reading--Fifth grade students have read several novels, including Shiloh, Saving Shiloh, and Stone Fox.

English--Daily Oral Language sentences are used to reinforce use of proper grammar and punctuation and also to improve written expression.

Math--assignments include practice and review work, with an introduction to the new Chicago Everyday Math Curriculum.

The Learning Resource Classroom is available for study hall, test taking, and small-group instruction.
