CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS

1.  Be on time for class.

Unless you have a pass from another faculty/staff member you will be marked
        as tardy.

2.  Come to class prepared.

Being prepared is essential for success.  This means always having the BIG 4:
Textbook, Notebook, Handbook, Pen/Pencil.  There will be periodical checks to
ensure you have brought all four.  If you have all four you will receive 5 points.
If you do not have all four, 0 points will be given.  Students will not be allowed
to return to their locker after the bell has rung.

3.  Respect others and their property.

Fail to do this and you will end up in the office.

4.  If you have questions ASK!

It is important to ask questions  if you do not understand  something.  I will
not always know the answer, but will find the answer and tell you as soon as

possible.

5.  Class participation is important.

Being involved in class shows you are paying attention and actively trying to
learn the material, not participating shows the opposite.  This is reflected in
        student grades.

6.  Homework
        Late work is not accepted.
If work is not turned in when it is due you
will recieve a 0 for that assignment.  If homework does not have a name half
        credit will be given.

7.  Grading

Grades will be assigned on a points scale.  Total Correct/Total Assigned.
Grades will be based on quizzes, tests, worksheets and other work as
           assigned.

8.  Discipline
All rules and expectations in the student handbook will be followed.  If you
have questions regarding these rules be sure to ask.

9Absences
If a student is absent they have two days for each day missed to complete
            the work without penalty.
IT'S THE STUDENTS RESPONSIBILITY TO COLLECT MISSED WORK.
