On February 8th, Southeastern Elementary had a very special visitor.
Army Sgt. Kaleb Menn, a former student at Plymouth Elementary School
came to speak to our student body.

Kaleb has been serving in Iraq and will be returning to Iraq soon.
He brought lots of pictures and videos to share. At this time,
Kaleb is assigned to a unit that is training Iraqi soldiers.
A highlight of the presentation was a display of the clothing worn by
Iraqi civilians and military.

Kaleb shared many stories and we all discovered that our soldiers have
not lost their desire to have some fun -- even in a war zone! True
to his Hancock County heritage, Kaleb even found time to go muddin'.

Kaleb was welcomed by former teachers and even a few family members.
Southeastern Elementary thanks Sgt. Kaleb Menn for
coming to our school. But most of all, we thank Kaleb and all of
our soldiers for everything they do to keep us safe! |
